    Dr. Stan Pozega grew up in the small coal mining community of Logan, West Virginia. He received his BSBA degree in 1975 from West Virginia University, then moved to Knoxville in 1976 to attend graduate school at the University of Tennessee. After school and working for several years in Knoxville, he decided it was time to pursue his long time interest in dentistry (obtained from his dentist uncle in Charleston, WV), and subsequently attended dental school at UT-Memphis, graduating in 1989. Coming back to Knoxville was an easy decision, choosing first the Gibbs community, then 4 years later moving to our present location in Fountain City in 1994. "We love this area. It's a wonderful place to live, practice, and go to church at Fountain City Presbyterian. I'll be here forever." Dr. Stan has been married to his lovely wife, Jamie (also one of his hygienists), since 1990, and they have a wonderful young son, Mark, who is a junior at Carson Newman University and who is going to follow in his father's footsteps and go to Dental School. Dr.Stan has kept up-to-date on many continuing education dental courses, frequently going far beyond the minimum requirements set by the state, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.

We offer many services that you would expect from any office – preventive services (cleanings, x-rays), restorative (fillings, crowns), extractions, dentures and partials – but cosmetic services (veneers, porcelain crowns, in-office bleaching, etc) are something that we have provided for years, with many satisfied patients getting the smile that they have always wanted.
