In addition to general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry, we work with specialists in Periodontics (gum diseases), Implant dentistry, and Endodontics (root canal treatments), as well as other specialists. I have been going here since the Dentist took over from my previous dentist. No one ever really likes going to the dentist but o never dread going here. They all do a great job and give good advice to me.

Wonderful care - everyone is very competent, the dentists, their assistants, the hygienists. Dr. Stone is gentle strength, and very ingenious in solving problems. And does anything possible to avoid pain in the patient (including injecting the Novocaine slow and steadily, which it turns out to make a big difference. The condition and options for care are explained clearly, and recommendations make sense. The hygienists not only taught me how to brush and floss effectively (at 73 years old I discovered for the first time that one need not apply much pressure the clean the teeth - the plaque to be removed comes off with just gentle pressure), but in such a way that I was highly motivated and have really adopted the flossing habit. I first came to Dr. Stone years ago as she began her first practice in Nestor (just east of Imperial Beach) and she solved the problem of a botched root canal from another dentist. She then oversaw the recovery of my gums and bone, the loss of which was threatening the integrity of my teeth. Then a few years ago, after being out of the country for several years, when a toothache presented itself, I sought out Dr. Stone, though she was now 20 miles away and once again she solved the problem ingeniously. I highly recommend her to everyone.
