Dr. Richard James Richardson II

After earning his Bachelor and Masters of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of California-Riverside, Dr. R. James Richardson graduated from Loma Linda University with his dental degree in 1989. He completed a two-year pediatric specialty program at UCLA and has been practicing pediatric dentistry in Corona, California since April 1991. Dr. Richardson stays up-to-date on the latest advances in dentistry with memberships in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Tri-County Dental Association. In his free time, Dr. Richardson enjoys wakeboarding, scuba diving, snow skiing and barbequing with family and friends.

Phase I Orthodontics, nitrous oxide procedures, general restorative procedure from fillings to baby root canals and baby crowns.

What are you proud of in your practice?

Our Team! Most have been with me over 10 years... some nearing 20 years!

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

All cases are unique and rewarding in their own way. My favorite case is that of the fearful child, or the child that has already had a negative dental experience in the past. I love to see how we as a team gain his or her trust, and how they later learn to love dentistry and taking care of their teeth. It forms a lifetime of positive dental experiences.
