A unique combination of high energy and patience, Oral Surgeon in Mamaroneck NY, Dr. Shahin Ghobadi, DMD, is an oral surgeon who thrives on helping patients calm their anxieties to make their experience a pleasurable one. At St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, Dr. Ghobadi served as chief resident for two years before completing his residency in 2008, and currently holds the position of Chief of Implant Dentistry at St. Joseph's. He received his dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2004. He specializes in oral and maxillofacial surgery, implants, grafting and sedation dentistry. He is also a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, and New Jersey Dental Association. In 2004, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery awarded Dr. Ghobadi the Dental Implant Student Award, and earned the Pre-doctoral Achievement Award from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. In 2011, Dr. Ghobadi received an award from MIS for recognition and contribution in the field of implant dentistry. He is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and has been voted one of New Jersey's Top Dentists by njtopdentist.com. In July of 2010, Dr. Ghobadi went on a medical mission to St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the Caribbean, providing dental outreach services to the indigent population; and continues to volunteer his time for such causes.
